We are offering emergency services 7 days a week through our on-premise All Creatures Veterinary Center.  Our knowledgeable, caring team offers a wide range of services for dogs and cats, including vaccinations, surgery, radiology, dental care, ultrasound, and in-house blood work. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to provide precise, efficient and comfortable care for your pets. Positions

Kennel Assistant

Brief Position Description:

Veterinary kennel assistants are responsible for the day-to-day care of patients and boarders. This includes feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the wellbeing of dogs, cats and, occasionally, other companion animals. Kennel assistants must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects, the dexterity and confidence to administer medications, and the ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease. It is essential that they have the ability and willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets.

Kennel experience is not always a prerequisite for this position.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Brief Position Description:

The Registered Veterinary Technician directly impacts doctors’ productivity by assisting the doctors to the fullest possible extent, helping to improve the quality of care given to the patients and aiding the doctors in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of technical work at All Creatures Veterinary Center.

The Registered Veterinary Technician assists in multiple procedures providing care for animals including physical examinations, dental procedures, surgeries, immunizations, euthanasia as well as client education, marketing and inventory maintenance. The technician assists in exam rooms by taking patients’ histories, vital signs and weight; preparing vaccines; collecting samples and running diagnostic tests; providing client education; and assisting with animal restraint. Technicians also may see their own appointments for procedures such as suture removal; nail trim, vaccine administration when a doctor exam is not required, long-term medication monitoring testing, surgery admission and discharge.

This position requires a working knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, common diseases; their symptoms, means of transmission, treatment and prevention, and other basic preventative health care recommendations. Practice Manager

Brief Position Description:

Veterinary Practice Manager provides leadership and vision to the team. From veterinarians to support staff, we have assembled a dynamic group of skilled professionals who provide exceptional client service and patient care.

Exceptional organizational and time management aptitude, expertise in inventory and cost controls, regulatory compliance, employee lifecycle, finance and marketing, this may be the practice for you. A competency in community outreach, marketing, and social media are a must, as well as the ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment and facility concerns. Possessing a strong sense of teamwork, we are seeking someone who is enthusiastic and personable with strong coaching and training skills to help us continue to be successful.

Included in the day to day operations we need someone to manage hospital work flow, team members and leads. HR duties will include, but are not limited to coaching, training, ability to manage the financials including the P & L, benchmarks, KPI and revenue growth.

Receptionists are the customer-relations experts in a veterinary practice. They are the clients’ first impression of the practice, on the phone or in person. Receptionists must possess strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and in-person communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Receptionists must have compassion for animals and their owners and understand the stress that patients and clients endure. Receptionists are responsible for greeting clients; differentiating routine cases from emergency cases; scheduling appointments; entering client, patient, and financial data into the computer; generating invoices and explaining them to clients; processing payments; and managing the retrieval and storage of medical records. Receptionists should expect to spend nearly all of their workdays at the front desk. The position requires the completion of a high-school degree or further education, competence in the English language, patience, and a pleasant manner. Ideally, newly hired receptionists will possess computer skills and have had cashier and related front-office work experience. Brief Position Description:

We are looking for a motivated candidate that is willing to learn and can thrive in a fast paced environment. We are willing to train the right candidate for the position. This is an entry level position and there is room for advancement.
