An Emergency

All Creatures is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, including all holidays to help with all veterinary care. When your pet is having an emergency, our team knows that every second is crucial. The team at ACVC is highly trained and experienced in emergency procedures and surgeries. Our team understands how difficult it can be to see your loved ones in distress and not know if they need immediate care. Here are some situations that require immediate care:

Immediate care is required if any of the following are observed:

  • Labored breathing
  • Pale, blue, or white gum color
  • Seizures
  • Loss of consciousness or mobility
  • Repeated vomiting and/or diarrhea
  • Bleeding of any kind
  • Eye injuries
  • Allergic reactions
  • Straining to urinate
  • Ingestion of poisons, toxins or foreign objects
  • Pain, indicated by crying out or discomfort of any kind)
  • Limping, trauma, or injury of any kind
  • Not eating or drinking for one or more days
  • Snake bites
  • Hit by car
  • Dog bite wounds
  • Bloating
